From the vaults of major motion picture studios comes a wealth of classic footage on film and tape. And, from independent sources, the visual history offers newsreels, film trailers, interviews, rehearsals and rare private footage.
Originally broadcast on February 9, 1979 as an ABC Friday Night Movie. This disc runs a full two hours and includes original commercials. Some rare film footage not seen in other rock and roll documentaries.
