Dick announces the winning couple in this year's dance contest. The Top-Ten Number One song of the week is, Stevie Wonder: "My Cherie Amour." On film: Bill Deal and The Rhondells appear in a video for "I've Been Hurt."

The Rate-a-Record segment features, Daddy Boyd: "I Think It's Gonna Rain Today" and The Elves: "Walking in Different Circles." Telephone Hotline features KCPX Salt Lake City, UT DJ Johnny Rider who tells the audience all the cool summer rock and roll happenings in in SLC. Johnny predicts CCR's "Commotion" is going to be a hit.

The kids in the studio dance to, Crosby, Stills & Nash: "Marrakesh Express." The Guess Who: "Laughing." Tony Joe White: "Polk Salad Annie."
