The new fall 1968 TV season is underway—but Bandstand still rings with a ’67 vibe. These episodes offer a cool combination of 60s soul, rock, psychedelic and pop music. And even a trippy video or two!

BANDSTAND 1968
U.S. TV show. Oct-7-67. Excellent quality. 4:3 aspect ratio. No commercials. The Merry-Go-Round appear in studio and perform: "On Your Way Out" and "You're a Very Lovely Woman." They are also interviewed. The Rate-A-Record segment features, The Hallmarks: "Soul Shakin' Psychedelic Sally" and Good Feelins: "I'm Captured."

In studio fashion show displays the latest female fashions including dresses, shoes, caps, capes, etc. The Top-Ten Number One song of the week is, The Association: "Never My Love." Telephone Hotline features KISN Portland, OR DJ, Bobby Simon who selects golden oldie, The Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There" as his favorite.

The kids in the studio dance to, The Buckinghams: "Hey Baby (They're Playing Our Song.)" Brenton Wood: "Gimme Little Sign." Paul Revere & The Raiders: "I Had A Dream." The Doors: "When You're Strange." Herb Alpert: "A Banda."

The Rate-A-Record segment features, Hal Blaine: "Kaleidoscope" and Capricorn: "Old Time Movies."

Bill Cosby is on the Hollywood Hotline and talks about writing songs and new projects he's working on. The Top-Ten Number One song of the week is, The Box Tops: "The Letter." The Telephone Hotline features WTMA Charleston, SC DJ, Bob "Booby" Nash who recommends Tommy Roe’s "Sweet Pea" for the spotlight dance.

The kids in the studio dance to, The Soul Survivors: "Expressway to Your Heart." Bill Cosby: "Little Ole Man." The Four Tops, "You Keep Running Away." The Mamas and Papas, "Twelve Thirty (Young Girls Are Coming to The Canyon."
