CUCUMBER CASTLE 1970
U.K. TV movie. 4:3 aspect ratio. The Bee Gees star in this artsy, fantasy film. The plot concerns two heirs, Prince Frederick (Barry Gibb) and his brother Prince Marmaduke (Maurice Gibb), and their dying King/father (Frankie Howerd). On his deathbed, the King decrees that his kingdom shall be divided into two halves, the Kingdom of Cucumber and the Kingdom of Jelly.

The film mixes comedy bits, Bee Gees songs, and performances by Lulu and Blind Faith—who are seen in concert from Hyde Park, London. There are several cameo appearances. Note: Robin had recently left the group and is not in the film.

Bee Gees songs include: "Don't Forget to Remember," "Then You Left Me," "I Was the Child," "The Lord," "My Thing." Lulu: "Morning of my Life," "Mrs. Robinson." Blind Faith: "Well All Right." Barry Gibb, Maurice Gibb, Lulu, Eleanor Bron, Blind Faith, Spike Milligan, Vincent Price, Donovan, Marianne Faithfull, Mick Jagger, Roger Daltrey.
