The Kinks began as just another rhythm & blues group but through the creative songwriting talent of Ray Davies and pounding guitar style of his brother Dave, they quickly developed into the premier mid-60s hard rocking beat group.
By 1966 the Kinks underwent a stylistic change; their songs now featured social commentary, observation, and character study of everyday English life. This collection presents a video history of the Kinks in the 60s and
early 70s.
