BEATLES MINNESOTA MANIA 1995
U.S. documentary. Cool look at the 1960s Minneapolis teen music garage band scene and how the arrival of the Beatles changed everything. Interviews with several 60s Minneapolis groups, including the Trashmen, the Castaways, the Accents, Mike Waggoner and the Bops, the Gestures, the Jades, the Escapades, the Underbeats and others.

Minnesota record labels included Garrett and Soma records. The Beatles only performed once in Minnesota. The date was August 21, 1965. Interviews with fans who attended the concert and local rival disc jockeys Sam Sherwood (KDWB) and Bill Diehl (WDGY). Terrific close-up silent color footage of Beatles performing. Press conference footage. George is presented with a new Rickenbacker.
