OUT OF IT 1969
U.S. film. Excellent quality. Black & White. 16:9 aspect ratio. Complete. Uncut. Rock and Roll soundtrack includes music by the N.Y. Rock & Roll Ensemble and Electric Days and Flower Nights. Rated "M" when released.

A coming of age film about Long Island, NY teenagers. An intellectual nerd and a jerky jock are both after the affections of a hot-bodied, bikini babe. Starring Barry Gordon who appeared in The Girl Can't Help It, 1956 when he was eight years old and Jon Voight who filmed Out Of It before Midnight Cowboy even though Cowboy played in theaters first. Also, Lada Edmund Jr. who was most famously known as the wildly gyrating, hair-flailing caged go-go dancer who appeared regularly on the Hullabaloo TV show.

Sixties pop culture scenes include: transistor radios, hanging out at the beach, skinny-dipping, convertibles, Princess telephones, Howard Johnson's, Jean-Paul Belmondo and W.C. Fields posters on bedroom walls. They drive into NYC and walk around the East Village and attend an off-off Broadway play at Saint Mark's Playhouse. Interesting footage of 8th Street, St. Mark's Place and vicinity. Barry Gordon, Jon Voight, Lada Edmund Jr., Gretchen Corbett, Peter Grad, Frank Campanella, Michael V. Gazzo, Martin Gray, Oliver Berry, Leonard Gelber.
