FORCE OF IMPULSE 1960
U.S. film. It's the working class vs. country club set. Seventeen year-old Toby Marino is the star of his high school football team. A cute cheerleader named Kathy is hot for him. So is beautiful Bunny Reese, daughter of a wealthy businessman.

Bunny digs Toby even though her posh friends look down on him because of his working-class background and Italian immigrant father. This film has the all ingredients for a juicy juvenile delinquency movie—hot rods, heavy petting and gang fights.

Very cool hipster nightclub scene with beatnik-types snapping fingers and jitterbugging while Lionel Hampton and band wail rockin' jazzy tunes. Look for Christina Crawford ("Mommie Dearest" author). Robert Alda, J. Carrol Naish, Jeff Donnell, Jody McCrea (future regular in many "beach party" films), Tony Anthony, Lionel Hampton, Christina Crawford. Force of Impulse.
