Sha Na Na got their big break playing Woodstock, in the morning, right before Jimi Hendrix. And they never got paid. But because of the exposure they toured, made records and in the late 1970s starred in their own 1950s-themed musical TV show.

U.S. TV Show. Guest: Teresa Brewer. Songs: "Book of Love," "Chantilly Lace," "At the Hop." Sha Na Na dance contest. Teresa Brewer and Sh Na Na sing, "New Orleans."

SHA NA NA - TV SHOW - Episode 44 -1978
U.S. TV Show. Guest: Jimmie Rodgers. Lennie sings, "Devil or Angel." Donny sings, "Zing Went the Strings of My Heart." Chico serenades Ginger with, "I've Told Ev'ry Little Star." Jimmie Rodgers and Sha Na Na sing, "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine", "Secretly" and "Honeycomb." In a vaudeville theater Sha Na Na sings, "How You Gonna Keep 'Em Down on the Farm?"

U.S. TV Show. Guest: Lloyd Price. Lennie sings, "I Wanna Be the Leader." Denny sings, "Sincerely." In the diner Santini serenades Lorraine with, "Stuck on You." Lloyd Price sings, "Personality" and "Stagger Lee." In a hospital ward Screamin' Scott sings, "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu."

SHA NA NA - TV SHOW - Episode 64 -1979
U.S. TV Show. Guest: Dusty Springfield. Lennie takes lead on, "Heartbeat." On the street Denny and the boys perform, "Sh-Boom" — while wearing roller skates! Dusty Springfield sings, "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me." Sha Na Na spoof the opera, "Carmen." Bowzer serenades the crowd with, "Can't Help Falling In Love."
