U.K. film. The First International Poetry Incarnation filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall. The film includes a series of extracts from performances by poets. Some of the poets include: Lawrence Ferlinghetti reads "To Fuck Is to Love Again." Michael Horovitz reads "For Modern Man." Gregory Corso reads "Mutation of The Spirit."

Harry Fainlight (while high on LSD) reads "The Spider." Adrian Mitchell reads his Vietnam poem, "To Whom It May Concern." Allen Ginsberg (who is very drunk) reads a translation of Andrei Voznesensky's poem "The Three Cornered Pear/America." Other poets/poems are read.
