SOUNDS OF THE SIXTIES - Episodes 9-10
U.K. TV. Excellent quality. 4:3 aspect ratio. Tons o' tunes. The Bonzo Dog Band, the Mothers of Invention (Zappa), the Small Faces, the Move, the Kinks, the Moody Blues, the Who, the Jimi Hendrix Experience (very cool live footage from the "Lulu Show" where Jimi begins "Hey Joe" then says, "Enough of this rubbish" and goes into "Sunshine Of Your Love"), Donovan, the Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Family, Cream, Joni Mitchell.

Note: To preserve highest quality, the Sounds of the Sixties episodes are spread across three discs to endure no more than two hours of material is on each disc. Over two hours of material and the quality degrades (like the old VHS days of 6 hour mode).

Plus these bonus selections...

THE RAVERS 1967
U.K. The girls are the hunters, the boys the hunted! The Ravers follows the British pop group Simon Dupree & The Big Sound who perform their single, "Day Time, Night Time" while the girls work themselves into a frenzy. The group signs autograph books, arms, legs and breasts! Then there are the girls who don't want an autograph; they want Simon...or any pop star! The girls happily rattle off the names of the rockers they've slept with. "I was with the drummer of the Jeff Beck group for two hours!"

PATTI BOYD INTERVIEW 2009
Patti talks about the swinging sixties, meeting George Harrison while filming "A Hard Day's Night," marrying George and living life as a Beatle wife. Patti reveals how she came to be involved and eventually marry Eric Clapton and how George and Eric remained friends.
