EARTH VS. THE SPIDER 1958
U.S. film. Excellent quality. This film has it all: science fiction, high school teens, cool hot rods, gigantic spider-monsters, inept adults and a wild rock 'n' roll scene. The opening scene wastes no time in grabbing your attention: a pickup truck, screeching brakes and blood!

Dig this: Dick D'Agostin and the Hollywood Swingers (Eddie Cochran's road band, and Gene Vincent's backing group in the film, "Hot Rod Gang") wail on some raucous 1950s rock 'n' roll while a bunch of teens jive and jitterbug their butts off! In fact, it's the wild rock 'n' roll that brings the thought-to-be-dead spider back to life!

Attention hot rodders: look for a gorgeous 1932 Ford Model B Roadster 'Highboy' Hot Rod. June Kenney, Gene Persson, Skip Young, Ed Kemmer, Gene Roth, Hal Torey, June Jocelyn, Mickey Finn. Earth vs. The Spider!

Plus this bonus selection...

SATURDAY NIGHT BEECH.NUT SHOW 1958
U.S. TV show. Sep-13-58. The Tune Rockers: "The Green Mosquito" and "Warm Up." Fabian: "Lilly Lou." Johnnie & Joe: "Darling" and "Over the Mountain Across the Sea." Johnny Nash: "Almost in Your Arms." Something Smith and the Redheads: "I Don't Want to Set the World Fire." Note: The Tune Rockers go absolutely ape-wild! This was Fabian's first-ever singing appearance on this TV show. It's very early in his singing career; not as polished as later on.
