Old photographs, rare vintage film clips and live radio show transcriptions tell the story of the Louisiana Hayride. The "Hayride" was a radio show that gave new talent an opportunity to perform and perfect their style in front of live audiences. During its heyday from 1948 to 1958, the Hayride rivaled the famed "Grand Ole Opry" in the number of careers it launched. Hank Williams Sr., Elvis Presley, George Jones, Johnny Cash. Many others.
