Double Feature!

U.S. film. Excellent quality. 4:3 aspect ratio. They live, love, and even kill for kicks. Steve Alaimo, best remembered for his 1963, top 100 Checker Records hit, "Everyday I Have to Cry Some," and as a regular on Dick Clark's, Where The Action Is, stars in this story of a stock car driver who goes undercover as the getaway driver for a bank robbing, Nazi biker gang.

The weed-smoking biker gang, Satan's Angels, looks out of place in a tiki night club where rock group, the Birdwatchers Band belt out their pop tune, "And I Will" while shaking their mop tops cheerfully. The group invites Steve on stage to perform the blue-eyed soul number, "You Don't Love Me" as the youthful patrons shake and shimmy while wearing hip-huggers and wide belts.

A "hip" 60's musical score by Al Jacobs features a nice Ventures-styled riff that keeps things moving along. Former world light heavyweight boxing champion Willie Pastrano gives a good performance as a sadistic biker named Banjo. Thrilling real life, stock car racing footage. In an un-credited role, 1960's stock car legend Bobby Brack provided the stunt driving for Steve Alaimo in the racing scenes at Florida's Palm Beach Fairgrounds Speedway.

They must have eaten a lot of chicken while filming this movie because during the end credits the producers wish to thank Colonel Sanders. Wild Rebels is loaded with dialog like, "Dig the cat at the bar", "Hi, Handsome", "I don't know what's going on, but I don't like it", " No creeps are allowed to touch her", and "Let me have a beer. What kind? A cold one."

Wild Rebels was filmed in and around Miami-Dade and Broward Counties Florida, so you get to see a lot of the local scenery. Steve Alaimo, Willie Pastrano, John Vella, Bobbie Byers, Jeff Gillen, Walter R. Philbin, Robert Freund, Seymour A. Eisenfeld, The Birdwatchers Band. Wild Rebels.

Plus this bonus selection...

Hasil Adkins, rockabilly maniac from Boone County, West Virginia gets his own documentary that features rockabilly, mobile homes, redneck bars, and a fantastic cat-fight scene by the local "ladies" while Hasil's on stage performing.
