THE DELICATE DELINQUENT 1956
U.S. film. In his first film without his longtime partner Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis spoofs the "juvenile delinquent" film genre and plays a goofy janitor who gets caught in the middle of a JD gang rumble and gets arrested.

Policeman Darren McGavin helps reform the delinquent Lewis, who soon becomes a rookie cop. Satire of juvenile delinquent and teen exploitation films circa 1950s. Includes the song, "By Myself." Jerry Lewis, Darren McGavin, Dick Bakalyan, Martha Hyer, Robert Ivers, Joseph Corey, Horace McMahon.
