Double Feature!
AMERICAN BANDSTAND 1957
Dec-18-57. U.S. TV show.
Christmas episode. Believed to be the oldest surviving episode of AB from WFIL Channel 6 in Philadelphia. Includes original commercials. Lots of fun, some Christmas songs and terrific 1950s rock and roll and doo wop! Georgia Gibbs visits the show.
Lots of interaction between Dick and the famous original "regulars." The kids dance to the music of: Sam Cooke, Frankie Lymon, Fats Domino, the Silhouettes, Danny and The Juniors, Bobby Helms and many others. Commercials include 7-Up, Frank Sinatra TV special and Pat Boone pitching his "Chevy Show." Note: quality is a little below average. Source is VHS, but still enjoyable.
Plus this bonus selection...
