Hosts Diana Ross and the Supremes (Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong) perform and introduce guests the Jackson 5, Sammy Davis Jr., Alan Sues, and Willie Tyler and Lester. The Jackson 5 made their first national television appearance on this episode. Includes original commercials.

Songs: Diana Ross and the Supremes: "Where Do I Go?" "Good Morning, Starshine," "Someday We'll Be Together," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" (with Mary Wilson singing lead), "Love Child." The Jackson 5: "Sing a Simple Song" and "I Want You Back." Alan Sues "Good Times Are Here to Stay." Comedy bit with Diana Ross, Sammy Davis Jr. and Michael Jackson.

Sammy Davis Jr.: "You've Made Me So Very Happy." Diana Ross and Sammy Davis Jr. do a song-and-dance tribute to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie musicals. Music includes "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" and "I Won't Dance."

Willie Tyler and Lester (ventriloquist act). Comedy sketch: Alan Sues plays Diana Ross' inept butler. Sues also plays a frantic photographer and a costume designer. Commercials include: Colgate toothpaste, Fab detergent, Favor furniture wax, Bravo floor wax, Maxium Freeze-Dried Coffee, Orange-Plus orange juice, Nytol Sleep tablets, Rolaids, Certs, Aero Wax floor wax, Easy-Off over cleaner, Tegrin dandruff shampoo.

DIANA 1971
U.S. TV show. Original air date: April 18, 1971. Former Supremes front woman Diana Ross stars in her first solo TV special. Choreographed by David Winters (Hullabaloo, West Side Story) who at that time choreographed all of Ross' stage and TV shows.

The special featured performances by The Jackson 5, and also included Jackson 5 lead singer Michael Jackson's solo debut. Michael Jackson performed Frank Sinatra's "It Was a Very Good Year," which drew laughter as its adult-themed lyrics were changed to fit his age. Other guests included Danny Thomas and Bill Cosby, who would be featured on a similar TV special by the Jackson 5 (Goin' Back to Indiana) a few months later.

Songs: Diana Ross: "Don't Rain On My Parade," "(They Long To Be) Close To You," "Remember Me," "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," " Love Story (You And Me)" (with Bill Cosby), "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "I Love You (Call Me)."
