The concert was a completely free, massive outdoor afternoon celebration meant to ring in the 4th of July holiday weekend. The line-up featured the original core members performing together—including Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, and Al Jardine. The atmosphere was high-energy, daytime summer festival vibes with the Washington Monument serving as the backdrop. The video features amazing wide shots that show a literal sea of hundreds of thousands of fans filling up the National Mall spaces.
