U.S. film. Excellent quality. 16:9 letterbox. While trapped in a private elevator in her home, wealthy widow Olivia de Havilland is tormented by a gang of teenage hoodlum psychos, a prostitute and a wino! Fantastic, sensationalistic JD shocker that was banned in U.K. The black and white photography is beautiful--this film would lose it's punch if it had been filmed in color.

Excellent camera and editing! Looks like "Hitchcock doing JD exploitation!" Olivia de Havilland, Ann Sothern, Jeff Corey, (introducing) James Caan, Jennifer Billingsley, Rafael Campos (Blackboard Jungle), William Swan, Charles Seel, Scatman Crothers.
