WORK IS A FOUR (4) LETTER WORD 1968
U.K. film. A true British drug, pop-film rarity. David Warner and Liverpool beat girl Cilla Black star in this delightfully-absurd account of a young man called Valentine Brose who is on a mission to grow a crop of psychedelic mushrooms to promote bliss for the overworked masses of Great Britain.

He takes a job at a power station and knocks out the entire city's power and then feeds the authorities his mushrooms, sending them into a frenzy of hallucinogenic bliss. He then is able to escape with his wife to be (Cilla) and a baby carriage loaded with mushrooms. Cilla sings title song.

Note: Of this film, Cilla says when she saw her profile on the big screen it prompted her to get a nose job. David Warner, Cilla Black, Elizabeth Spriggs, Zia Mohyeddin, David Waller, Joe Gladwin, Julie May, Alan Howard, Jan Holden, John Steiner. Work Is A Four Letter Word.
