RARE NORTHERN SOUL - THE!!!! BEAT was a 1/2 hour syndicated Rhythm & Blues, Northern Soul and Soul music TV show out of Nashville, Tennessee. It ran for one year (1966) and all the episodes were in color. THE!!!! BEAT was hosted by pioneering R&B disc jockey Bill "Hoss" Allen who interviewed the artists and kept the proceedings moving along.

Many of the songs were performed live in the studio with house band, The Beat Boys, led by the R&B legend, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. The show featured black go-go dancing girls wearing white go-go boots and fringe-flying mini-skirts!
