THE YOUNG RACERS 1963
U.S. film. Very rare racing film featuring Mark Damon. "They treated beautiful women as if they were fast cars...ROUGH!" A little death each day, a lot of love every night!" Joe Machin (William Campbell) is a womanizing Grand Prix racer on the European circuit who deceives his wife at every pit stop. Stephen Children (Mark Damon) is a former racer, now a writer, who travels to Monte Carlo to meet his fiancée, Monique (Beatrice Altariba).

Annoyed to discover her apparently involved in an affair with Joe, Stephen decides to write a book exposing the daredevil as a dirty driver. When Joe discovers this, he challenges Stephen to a racing duel, which Stephen accepts.

Exciting location footage of actual Grand Prix races in France, Belgium, England, and Monaco spices up the story. Real-life racers Jim Clark, Bruce McLaren, and Trevor Taylor appear as themselves. Mark Damon, William Campbell, Luana Anders, Patrick Magee, Marie Versini, John McLaren. Note: color corrected from a reddened 16mm print. The Young Racers!

Plus this bonus selection...

THE MUNSTERS 1965 "Hot Rod Herman"
U.S. TV show. "Hot Rod Herman." May-27-65. Eddie volunteers Herman in a drag-strip competition. After souping up the Munster Coach and dressing in black leathers and talking like Marlon Brando from The Wild One, Herman loses his car in a bet on a drag race. In a rematch, Grandpa builds and races in the "Dragula," a hot rod coffin on wheels! Grandpa says of Herman, "My son-in-law, the 150 year old teenage punk!" Real life hot rod and drag strip footage is used in this episode. Cool George Barris custom cars! Classic 1960s TV Show.
