IT'S A REVOLUTION MOTHER (a.k.a. BIKER BABYLON) 1970
U.S. film. Bikers, Hippies and Protesters. Question: What do stoned rock festival hippies sloshing in mud, intellectual anti-war peace protesters, and a New Jersey biker urinating in a beer can while one of his fellow bikers bends down to drink from the flow (seriously!), have in common? We're not sure but we think it has something to do with the late 1960s youth generation that was taking over the world.

This mondo-styled documentary appears to have been filmed from 1968 to 1970 and illustrates the wild swinging youth scene of the tumultuous 1960's and features in-depth footage of hippies at a groovy rock festival in Florida, protesters marching against the Vietnam War in Washington, D.C., and a wild New Jersey biker club called the Aliens letting it all hang out.

The Aliens let the cameras roll in their headquarters while they plan all their up-to-no-good biker activities. The leader announces that all the c*nts must leave so the men can talk business. The biker chicks (who look about 19 years old) don't seem to mind. We see the bikers planning a weekend of partying where they discuss the merits of getting one, or maybe three, ounces of speed and two hundred LSD trips. One of the bikers says, "Okay, that takes care of the first day."

We see over 500,000 hippie peaceniks marching in Washington, D.C. for a Anti-Vietnam War protest, then billed as "the largest peace march in history." We even a hear some Spiro Agnew jokes.

We also get to hang out with thousands of music lovers at a Florida version of Woodstock (complete with mud, towers, bad acid, etc.) where the bugged-out straight world ends and the out-of-sight groovy new world begins.

Plus this bonus selection...

OH WOODSTOCK! 1970
U.S. Educational film. NBC films. The same festival footage is shown twice. Once narrated by the younger generation and again by old square adults. Both groups describe the events in completely different terms. Rare and interesting Woodstock footage that is not seen in the countless other films about Woodstock. Very good film.
