THREE FOR ALL 1974
U.K. film. This movie captures the hairstyles, fashions and the electric boogie glam and glitter rock of the early 70's. A British marketing executive uses an up-and-coming rock n roll group called, "Billy Beethoven" to promote tourism to Spain. He tells them, "You're gonna be the biggest name since Paul, Ringo and Fred."

The lads are all psyched to go on tour when their girlfriends announce that they think they're going too! Oops! Someone's got to break the news to the birds that they aren't going. Three bloodcurdling screams later and the lads (sans birds) are boarding a jet to Spain while mascara-running eyes wave goodbye on the tarmac.

Back at their 1970s décor flat the three girls, worried that their boyfriends might be "chatting up birds" in Spain, decide on a Spanish Holiday for themselves! One crazy mystery-tour of a bus ride later, the girls arrive at Heathrow and it's off to Spain.

In Spain, Billy Beethoven's image has changed to all out glam and glitter rock. It's always dicey when you see the bass player "strumming" his bass! A series of hysterical adventures fall upon the girls as they explore Costa del Sol, Spain while trying to connect with their boyfriends. The group reaches number one and is becoming the biggest band in the world when they receive word from Johnny Carson that he wants them to appear on his U.S. TV show. A U.S. tour is planned.

Interesting connections: Adrienne Posta appeared in "To Sir With Love," "Up The Junction" and "Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush." Anna Quayle appeared in "A Hard Days Night." Roy Kinnear appeared in "Help!" Paul Nicholas appeared in "Stardust" and "Tommy." Robert Lindsay appeared "That'll Be The Day." Diana Dors was the British Marilyn Monroe. Graham Bonnet replaced Ronnie James Dio as the lead singer of Rainbow.

Popular band of the day, Showaddywaddy perform, "Rock 'n' Roll Party." Look for a psychedelic group performance scene featuring some extremely lysergic camera work! Songs include: "Don't Drink The Water," "Rock 'n' Roll Party," "Happy Machine," "Dreams," "Don't Drink The Water," "Liza," "We're Free," "Lady," "Rock on Man," "Things Get Better." Adrienne Posta, Lesley North, Cheryl Hall, Paul Nicholas, Diana Dors, Roy Kinnear, Anna Quayle, Graham Bonnet, Robert Lindsay, Christopher Neil, Richard Beckinsale, George Baker.

Plus this bonus selection...
