Shindig! ...It was a wild ride…some truly awe-inspiring episodes were broadcast during 1964 and 1965. Unfortunately the powers-that-were messed around with the show's scheduling and format and Shindig! lost its way (Johnny Mathis!?).

Shindig! started with a bang but didn't quite go out that way. Jimmy O'Neill kept it together even while being forced to flog ABC's new show line-up in the final episode. Job well-done Jimmy! Shindig! we miss you!
