Dr. Stone tries over and over to spend a day with his son Jeff, but his plans are always interrupted by emergency medical calls. eff is bummed out because his dad couldn't make it to the school to see his performance. Jeff later shows that he still loves his father by singing him the song, "My Dad." Paul Petersen made the pop charts with "My Dad." The song was written by the Brill Building songwriting duo Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.
