SERGEANT DEADHEAD 1965
U.S. film. Excellent quality. 16:9 letterbox. Rare 1960s movie starring the "Beach Party" gang—this time they're on an Air Force base. After accidentally getting launched into space, an astronaut sergeant and chimpanzee return to Earth...but there's change. The sergeant suffers from a slight personality change; he now has the brains of a chimp! A look-alike replacement must stand in for him at his wedding.

Donna Loren appears in very interesting musical performance scenes. Songs include: "Sergeant Deadhead," "The Difference in Me Is You," "Let's Play Love," "How Can You Tell," "You Should've Seen the One That Got Away," "Hurry Up and Wait," "Two Timin' Angel."

Stellar cast includes: Frankie Avalon, Deborah Walley, Donna Loren, Bobbi Shaw, Cesar Romero, Fred Clark, Gale Gordon, Harvey Lembeck, John Ashley, Buster Keaton, Eve Arden, Norman Grabowski. Sergeant Deadhead!

Plus this bonus selection...

BRIAN HENDERSON'S NATIONAL BANDSTAND 1965
AUS. TV show. A very cool episode of this Australian TV show looks at the teenage beach films produced by American International Pictures (AIP) film studios.

Frankie Avalon is in Australia to introduce the AIP films: Beach Party, Beach Blanket Bingo, Pajama Party, Ski Party and Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine. There are film clips and discussion about what goes into making a teenage picture at AIP studios.
