U.S. promo film. Cool Capitol Records promotional film narrated by Tennessee Ernie Ford that shows the process of signing an artist, and creating and marketing a record. Very cool footage from the air looking down on LA, including freeways, Hollywood Bowl, Capitol Tower, etc. Also, the art of LP cover design and in store displays.

Includes footage of the stars: Ray Anthony, Barbara Gayle, Leonard Pennario, Mora Lympany, Micky Katz, and John Browning. It also briefly features an appearance by Glen Wallichs, Capitol Records' former president and one the original co-founders (the other co-founders were Johnny Mercer and Buddy DeSylva).

WANNA BUY A RECORD? 1951
U.S. promo film. Cool footage of 1951 Los Angeles and Hollywood buildings and streets. Bozo the Clown record player! This is a promotional film for Capitol Records from 1951, starring Mel Blanc (the "Man of Thousand Voices" who voiced cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig and many more.) and Billy May. The film shows the process of how a record is made, and shows Capitol Records headquarters before the Capitol Records Tower opened. It also has appearances from many other stars, including Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis

THE STORY OF SOUND 1956
U.S. promo film. RCA Victor demonstrates how vinyl records were made using step-by-step examples of the production process. Starting with a live recording being taped, we then see a master being made, duplication of the master, a mold, and duplication of the mold ready for mass production of the latest audio masterpiece.

RCA STEREO 1957
U.S. promo film. The RCA Victor Corporation was well known for their audio technology innovations. In this short film entitled "How to Listen To... New Dimensions in Sound" they introduce us to the wonders of stereo sound. Note: The original film soundtrack was recorded with mono audio, the demonstrator would manually queue the required stereo recording during the Grand Canyon scenes. The stereo audio is not included in this film.
