THE BIG T.N.T. (TNT) SHOW 1966
U.S. film. Phil Spector produced the Big TNT Show which was a follow-up to the TAMI Show. The Ronettes, Bo Diddley, The Byrds, Donovan, Joan Baez (backed by Phil Spector on piano), Petula Clark, The Lovin' Spoonful, Ray Charles, Ike and Tina Turner. Others. Roger Miller calls a kid in the audience a "hippie" ...and he doesn't mean it as a compliment.

You can see a buzzing Sky Saxon (the Seeds) and Frank Zappa in the audience. David McCallum (Ilya Kuryakin from "Man from U.N.C.L.E.") introduces the show. 1960s rock & roll! Note: This is the complete Big TNT Show show, not an edited version hosted by Chuck Berry.

Plus this bonus selection...

GET SMART 1968
U.S. TV show. Jan-13-68. "The Groovy Guru." Max and 99 go full out mod! Chaos' underground DJ transmits live rock 'n' roll by the group, "The Sacred Cows." (The Beautiful Daze.) Their music is more than hip—it's hypnotic—and turns all the teenagers into dancing zombies so Chaos can use them to wreak havoc. Larry Storch (F-Troop) is the Groovy Guru! Barry Newman. Tons of very mod and psychedelic references. The Sacred Cows perform, "Kill, Kill, Kill."
