For 21 years the Mike Douglas show set the standard for high-quality talk show entertainment. The show aired five days a week starting in 1961 from Cleveland. In 1965 the show moved to Philadelphia and in 1978 to Los Angeles. A who's who of rock n roll artists appeared on the show; performing as well as discussing their careers and events of the day.
