JAN & DEAN …ON THE RUN 1966
U.S. TV pilot. Very rare. 48 hours in the life of college student-teen superstars Jan & Dean! They fly from LA to San Diego to a sold out show. They visit the zoo, do some skateboarding then it's off to Washington DC for another concert. In the end, it's back to school for exams. Songs include: "Surf City," "Dead Man's Curve," "Little Old Lady From Pasadena," "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away," "Hang On Sloopy," "Time and Space," and "Capital City." Jan Berry, Dean Torrence, Hal Blaine, Jack Fletcher, Donna Danton, Gordon Connell.

JAN & DEAN DOCUMENTARY
U.S. documentary. The rise and tragic fall of Jan and Dean. Super cool rare footage from two never-aired TV pilots, "Surf Party" and "On the Run," and the unfinished movie "Easy Come, Easy Go." Jan's near-fatal car wreck threw him in a 33-day coma—when he awoke he was paralyzed and had no memory. Dick Clark played kinescopes to help him remember. The 1978 TV movie "Dead Man's Curve" revitalized interest J&D. Jan's 1997 solo album was recorded one verse at a time over 10 years! Interviews include Jan Berry, Dean Torrence, Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston, Dick Clark, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, and many others.
