HOLLYWOOD PALACE : ROCK N ROLL COMPILATION VOLUME 1 (1964-67)

The Hollywood Palace was a popular Saturday night variety TV show that ran from 1964 to 1970 and originated from the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. In addition to vaudeville-type acts, the show also featured terrific mid-sixties rock n roll. The Rolling Stones made their first U.S. TV appearance on the show in 1964.

Of particular note: Dean Martin insults the Rolling Stones, Milton Berle is in a sketch with Sonny & Cher, Judy Garland chats with Johnny Rivers, Roy Rogers interviews Jan & Dean, and many other golden TV moments!
