U.S. film. Based on the true story of Sweetwater—the band that opened Woodstock ’69. Shortly after opening Woodstock, Sweetwater seemed poised for stardom. Sadly, lead singer Nancy Nevins was in a very bad auto accident that caused her to fade from the spotlight and spiral into drug and alcohol addiction. Thirty years later, a television reporter sets out discover what happened to Sweetwater. This film does a good job of recreating the look, feel, sounds and vibe of the 60s and early 70s.
