U.S. film. The Sonny and Cher Story is a fun and entertaining window into the mod, pop and rock n roll world of the 1960s. The film begins with Sonny trying to find his way into the Los Angeles rock n roll scene of the late 1950s early 1960s. He gets a job at Specialty Records, and then works for Phil Spector at Gold Star studios and in the process invents "Sonny and Cher." All the duos hits are heard including "And The Beat Goes On," "I Got You Babe" and "Baby Don't Go." Bonus Selection: "The Beat Room" weekly U.K. music TV show.
