U.K. film. It's Scooby-Doo meets Blow-Up! Frankie Avalon looking like he just stepped out of a Beach Party movie and into Swinging London finds himself in a haunted house with a mysterious murderer and bloody gore! Eight very mod-looking twenty-somethings leave a Carnaby St. party and hold a séance in an old house where a fatal knifing befalls one of the swingers. Frankie takes charge and directs the others to hide the body and lie to the police about the "missing" person. The main suspect seems to be an older married man angry that his affair with one of the hot looking birds has been ended. Look for a scene of the legendary Apple Records headquarters mural and background rock music by The Pretty Things. U.S. educational film. "Youth is a happy time!" Marty is a clean-cut 50s teen who gives in to peer pressure and starts smoking reefers. Before you know it, he's a shooting the deadly white powder—Heroin! Then comes Marty's downward spiral of losing his job, losing weight, worrying his parents, getting snubbed by the clean teens, stealing to support his habit, and finally becoming a drug pusher. Eventually he gets arrested but after he gets out of rehab, all the nice teens reject him and he has to deal with pressure from his old junkie pals to start using again. Yes, youth is a happy time!
