U.S. film. Deborah Walley becomes the second actress (the first being Sandra Dee) to play everyone's favorite Girl-Midget. Gidget, not wanting to leave her boyfriend Moondoggie (James Darren) agrees unwillingly, to go on vacation to Hawaii with her parents. While in Hawaii Gidget befriends dancer Michael Callan, but when her boyfriend Moondoggie arrives on the scene, emotions run hot and sparks begin to fly!
