U.K. film. “Love in the Fifth Dimension!” Attention lovers of mod fashion: this movie looks groovier than a mid 60s Yardley commercial! Brilliant screwball film set in pop-art England about four mod dolly birds who kidnap a pretty-boy pop star for their fun. The fun includes striping the pop idol, tying him to a rotating table under a transparent inflatable dome (nice phallic symbol eh?), and forcing themselves on him. Guess what? He loves it! Duh! There is also a wrestler who “wants” the pop star. Music by Nirvana (No, not…) who perform a very mod theme song, “All Of Us.” Also groovy music by Wynder K. Frog, Roy Redman, and the Ferris Wheel. The only feature film directed by Beatles photographer Robert Freeman. Judy Huxtable, Ester Anderson, Marilyn Rickard, Kathy Simmonds, David Anthony, Rick Starr, Roy Davies, Harry Baird, Joan Bakewell, Michael Chow, William Dexter, Monika Ringwald. The Touchables!
