JITTERBUG 1991
U.S. documentary on the origins of the coolest dance ever! When musical giants such as Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Cab Calloway played, legendary dancers like Al Minns, Norma Miller and Frank Manning danced—their butts off! At the Savoy, blacks and whites danced together, probably for the first time in America. Interviews with dancers plus awesome vintage footage. Also the U.K.'s "Jiving Lindy Hoppers" who continue the Jitterbug tradition.

GROOVIE MOVIE 1942
U.S. short film. A comical look at the world of Swing dancing spoofs both dance instruction and efforts to find high culture in jitterbug. Through the parody and comedy, Groovie Movie shows some of the finest examples of the Hollywood Style of Lindy Hop that have ever been filmed. Today, Swing dancers continue to mine this cult film for dance moves and techniques.
