Double Feature!
THE BIG OPERATOR 1959
U.S. film. Holy Moly! What a violent sadistic movie! It's Albert Zugsmith and his cast of lovable regulars in a story of union corruption. Within the first two minutes, Oscar "The Executioner" tosses a guy into a cement mixer and the action doesn't let up from there!
Mickey Rooney plays a crooked union boss who will stop at nothing and do anything to anyone who gets in his way. Steve Cochran plays the man who can testify that he saw the labor boss in an incriminating conversation with a known criminal. Mamie Van Doren plays a nice wife and homemaker with huge boobs. Mel Tormé plays a witness who gets set on fire by a strong arm union goon. Jay North (Dennis the Menace) plays little boy Timmy who is kidnapped on Halloween by two creepy crooks who lure him into their car with candy.
Steve Cochran is abducted and taken to a house on the outskirts of town. Then his eyes are taped shut and he is beaten to a pulp because he refuses to promise not to testify. It just goes on and on! Look at this cast: Mickey Rooney, Steve Cochran, Mamie Van Doren, Mel Tormé, Jim Backus, Ray Anthony, Jackie Coogan, Charles Chaplin Jr., Vampira, Ray Danton, Norman Grabowski, Jay North. The Big Operator!

TO THE FAIR 1965
U.S. short film. The 1964-65 New York World's Fairs is on beautiful display. You'll wish you could go back in time to experience the optimism of an open-ended future and gorgeous Populuxe architecture. Several Walt Disney attractions (the Carousel of Progress, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and It's a Small World) were developed and built for this fair. A nice 60s look and vibe.
