THE BOYS 1962
U.K. film. The Shadows provide the soundtrack! Four teddy boys are charged with the murder of a night watchman. Robert Morley is the defense attorney who tries to convince the jury to render a charitable verdict. Prosecuting attorney Richard Todd (The Love-Ins) is unmoved; his job is to prove that the boys aren't the innocent victims of society they're made out to be. There is a very good use of flashbacks during the testimony scenes in this engaging court room drama. Jess Conrad, Dudley Sutton, Felix Aylmer, Ronald Lacey, Tony Garnett, Wilfred Brambell (very clean old man). Two-hours. The Boys!
