HOTHEAD 1958
U.S. film. Sleazy JD teen melodrama that has alcoholism, hot rods, body builders, rock n roll, dancing, fist-fights and madness. An angry young juvenile delinquent blames his absent father for his troubles. He and his pals are hanging out at the beach when they meet a hobo. For some reason, the hobo reminds the JD of his estranged father. That night the drifter breaks into the JD’s home and spends the night dancing to rock n roll and boozing it up. This clinches it for the youth who is convinced that only his dead-beat dad would behave in such an unseemly manner. Trouble increases when the vagabond attempts to rape the best friend's girl. The JD becomes so enraged that he attacks the hobo. Steve Franklin, Robert Glenn, Barbara Joyce. Hothead!
