U.S. film. Juvenile delinquent Sal Mineo as Dino, a JD who is sent to reform school for being involved in a gang-related killing. Upon release, Dino goes back to his neighborhood and is pulled back into gang life. His parole office and social worker try to set him straight but it isn't until his brother begins to become a JD hood that Dino wants to go straight. Very good and rarely seen JD film! Sal Mineo, Brian Keith, Susan Kohner, Frank Faylen (Dobie Gillis's father), Dick Bakalyan (our favorite 50s JD hood!), Rafael Campos (Blackboard Jungle), Michael Mineo, Joe de Santis, Pat de Simone, Frank Lovejoy. When he decides to participate in the high school revue, star-struck Patty lands the dramatic "co-star" role. Great teen scene with Patty and Sal sharing a soda at "The Shake Shop."
