Set in a bohemian coffee house where beatniks gather to recite poetry and perform, this detective drama centers upon the attempts of an insensitive police detective to catch an arrogant serial rapist—a rich young man who believes himself mentally superior and therefore beyond the law. His favorite victims are married women. When he learns that the detective is after him, the rapist targets the cop's wife. Tons of beatnik lingo! What a wild cast! "Will Success Spoil Herman Munster?" Dec-2-65. U.S. TV show. Herman sings and plays guitar into Eddie's tape recorder and ends up being heard by a disc jockey. The DJ plays the song on his radio show and it becomes a smash hit! Stardom goes to Herman's flat head as he wears a beret, dark shades and speaks beatnik! Highlight scene has Herman on stage dressed like Marlon Brando in "The Wild One," as he plays a cool lookin' 60s guitar while a trio of go-go girls shake all around him. Gary Owens (from Laugh-In) as the DJ.
