U.S. film. Excellent quality. 16:9 widescreen. An out-of-work promoter sees hip kids doing the "twist" in a regional backwoods—and immediately realizes that the dance could be a huge hit. C'mon baby! Chubby Checker, Dion, The Marcels, Clay Cole, Vicki Spencer. Many others. Same plot as "Rock Around The Clock", but with a twist. Very fun.

Twist Around The Clock was released in December 1961 and features the Marcels singing, "Merry Twist-Mas." John Cronin, Mary Mitchell, Maura McGiveney, Tol Avery, Alvy Moore, Lenny Kent, Tom Middleton, Jeff Parker. Twist Aound The Clock.

U.S. TV show. Feb-28-62. Sally discovers a cool singer (Randy "Twizzle" Eisenbauer) at a bowling alley! He has invented a new teen dance sensation, the Twizzle! Next thing everyone's doin' the Twizzle! Mel offers Randy a guest spot on TV to introduce the dance. Randy's agent gets involved and things go afoul.

Everybody's dancin' up a storm at the bowling alley with none other than famous wrestler Freddie Blassie who invents a new dance, "The Twazzle!" Jerry Lanning, Jack Albertson, Tony Stag, Freddie Blassie.
