A college pledge attending a cool school dance where all the kids are twisting their butts off, secretly leaves the shindig to fight as "Kid Gallant" the prizefighter! Why does he fight? To raise money for his hoity-toity college fraternity initiation dues!

He returns to the dance (he didn't take a shower!) and hides the fact that he's a "crumb bum" boxer from his fraternity brothers and all the hot babes.
