SWEETWATER: A TRUE ROCK STORY 1999
U.S. film. Based on the true story of Sweetwater, the band that was supposed to open Woodstock '69. Shortly after Woodstock, Sweetwater seemed poised for stardom. Sadly, lead singer Nancy Nevins was in a very bad auto accident that caused her to fade from the spotlight and spiral into drug and alcohol addiction.

Thirty years later, a television reporter sets out discover what happened to Sweetwater. This film does a good job of recreating the look, feel, sounds and vibe of the 60s and early 70s. Amy Jo Johnson, Kelli Williams, Kurt Max Runte, Robert Moloney, Nancy Moonves, Michael Rawlins, Adam Ant, Michelle Phillips, Frederic Forrest, Trevor Roberts, Peter Williams, John Burgess-Murray.
