THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY STORY - COME ON, GET HAPPY 1999
U.S. TV film. Nov-13-99. This biopic looks at the creation, casting, production and 4-year fame of the popular Partridge Family TV series. A sizable portion of the film focuses on the dysfunctional home life of Danny Bonaduce/Danny Partridge and the behind-the-scenes drama of life on a TV series.

This film is the sister film to "the David Cassidy Story" which looks at the same subject from David Cassidy's point of view. Interviews with original cast members reveal that, "Come On, Get Happy" is a fairly accurate portrayal of their experiences during the TV show's run.

Together, "Come On, Get Happy" and "the David Cassidy Story" give a near complete picture of the fame and phenomenon of the Partridge Family. Lots of original Partridge Family hit songs throughout the film including "Come On Get Happy," "I Think I Love You," "I Woke Up In Love This Morning," and others. Eve Gordon, Rodney Scott, Shawn Pyfrom, Michael Chieffo, Kathy Wagner, Roxanne Hart, William Russ, Richard Fancy, Willie Garson.
