RED LINE 7000 1965
U.S. film. Excellent quality. 4:3 aspect ratio. Uncut. Legendary film director Howard Hawks revs his engine and hits the track in this racing drama about stock car drivers, mechanics, and the chicks who hang around waiting for their men to crash-and-burn or win the glory.

Look for a 1965 Shelby GT-350 and a 1965 Cobra Daytona Coupe! Real-life NASCAR driver Larry Frank let the film crew place cameras on his car. Frank later drove the camera-car in a NASCAR race. Tracks featured include: Daytona International Speedway, Darlington Raceway and Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Songs: "Wildcat Jones," and "Let Me Find Someone New" written by Carol Connors who was a member of the late 1950s group, the Teddy Bears (To Know Him Is To Love Him). She also appears in the film. Cool fuzz guitar and nightclub go-go scenes! George Takei (looking just like "Mr. Sulu") dances the Frug! Teri Garr appears un-credited as a nightclub go-go dancer behind a rock group. Cool shots of hi-fi equipment; turntables, reel-to-reels, etc.

Lots of real-life crashes including A.J. Foyt's violent crash at Riverside International Raceway earlier in the year. James Caan, Laura Devon, Gail Hire, Charlene Holt, George Takei, Carol Connors, John Robert Crawford, Marianna Hill, Skip Ward, Norman Alden, Diane Strom, Teri Garr. Red Line 7000.
