THE WILD RACERS 1968
U.S. film. Excellent quality. 16:9 widescreen. Un-cut. Fabian plays Joe Joe Quillico, a cocky, womanizing, race car driver who loves to win! This is not your average racing movie. Filmed in Europe it has a distinctive "art film" feel with interesting edits and scene structure. And it's got a lot of Grand Prix racing footage.

Joe Joe Quillico is hired by a race car owner/businessman to be runner-up for a veteran driver in the year's big European trophy races. Joe Joe doesn't like coming in second and blows an engine disobeying the owner's directive to not win.

Eventually Joe Joe is given a shot; he wins a few races and becomes the toast of the European racing circuit. Now he's a celebrity, gets product endorsement deals and parties like a wild man all while his ego explodes. He uses chicks as if he's testing race cars.

Music groups, Davie Allan and the Arrows (Kings of the fuzz rock soundtrack!) and the Sidewalk Sounds are featured throughout the film. Songs include: "Wild Racers Theme," "Bedroom Theme," "Dance Party," "The Checkered Flag," "The Train Station," and others.
