WILD WHEELS 1969
U.S. film. It's the good time, surfin', dune buggy gang versus the dirty, trouble-causing bikers (one is nicknamed, "Big Dick"). Toss in a heaping helping of white trash, sex and some oddball "rock groups," and you've got yourself one hellava motion picture.

Biker gang, the Roadrunners roar into a beach town and wreak havoc. They rob a liquor store, rape girls, get stinking drunk and smoke weed at a beach party. Wild Wheels stars an amazing array of redneck, Elvis-looking dudes who look forty-years old pretending to be 25.

The official biker rules dictate that any new girl coming into the gang must be passed around to all the bikers. However, the leader falls for a "nice girl" from the dune buggy gang and refuses to let her be passed around. This infuriates all the others, especially the big fat biker.

Music by Harley Hatcher. Lots of electric guitar on the soundtrack. Plus, tons of "rock groups" play at the local dive bar including Terry Stafford, Don Epperson, and the groups: Saturday Revue, 13th Committee, Three of August, and Billie and Blue.

Songs include: Terry Stafford: "Wine, Women And Song," "Night Ride." The Thirteenth Committee: "I Hear Music." Don Epperson: "I Fell for You," "Sittin' By The Highway," "Jailer Let Me Go Home," "A Hurt In My Heart." The Three Of August: "Merry Go Round," "A Thousand Butterflies." Billie and Blue: "Playin' Hard To Get." Saturday Revue: "Holiday Rider."

An outrageous amount of greaser haircuts for 1969! Everyone drinks cans of Schlitz beer. Casey Kasem plays an undersized, badass, biker dude that you could flick away like a cigarette butt. Even his own gang takes advantage of him. Filmed in Pismo Beach, CA but it feels more like Daytona Beach, FL. Don Epperson, Robert Dix, Casey Kasem, Marsha Jo Sandidge, Dovie Beams, Terry Stafford, Johenne Lemont, Bruce Kimball, Phillip J. Bartell, Nancy Brock. Wild Wheels.

Plus this bonus selection...

MEXICAN TEEN FILM EXCERPTS 1960s
The best scenes from several 1960s Mexican youth culture films. Scenes include: A man cranks his stereo volume and wildly dances to Bill Haley's, "Rock Around the Clock." A groovy discothèque has all the patrons dancing to a weedy-sounding rock and roll tune with a cool Vox organ. Then a motorcycle roars into the club and a go-go girl sings an extended version of, "Hang On Sloopy." Much more.
